Introduced in 2002, the original VentSaver products are metal roof snow protection devices that were specifically designed with vent pipes, chimneys, and roof masts in mind.
Vent pipes and chimneys are some of the most commonly damaged items caused by sliding snow and ice on sloped metal roofs. Amazingly enough, their protection is often neglected and forgotten until it is too late! Snow guards can protect the vents and chimneys but are only effective if used in an overall pattern across the entire roof. The VentSaver is the ultimate stand-alone or additional vent pipe and chimney protection solution! The VentSaver HD includes a wing kit that adds an extra layer of protection. Use the VentSaver on your metal roof to add support and divert snow and ice away from vent pipes, chimneys, and masts.

About VentSaver
In 2002, Rick Long pioneered the industry with the patented VentSaver FB-151 and VentSaver P-383 stack and stove pipe snow guards. These products became critical for sales because customers misused snow guards to protect their roof vents and chimneys. The VentSaver snow diverters are ideal for keeping vent stack pipes and chimneys upright on the roof. This vent pipe snow guard has a fin and cable that supports the pipe while diverting snow and ice around it. In 2010, we introduced the VentSaver HD, a heavy-duty VentSaver model that quickly gained popularity in areas with heavy snowfall. We now offer the SS VentSaver kits, which feature a non-penetrating attachment of the VentSaver products to a standing seam metal roof. In 2020, the VentSaver EZ replaced the VentSaver FB-151 and P-383 models. In 2023, the VentSaver Extreme model addressed problems with taller, wider stove pipes.
