The RoofClamp RC's Key Features:

  • Fast, effortless installation.

  • Secure satellite dishes, roof walks, conduits, or HVAC lines.

RoofClamp RC Can Attach Almost Anything To Your Standing Seam Roof

Attach almost any accessory or product to your roof without damaging standing seams or piercing panels with SnoBlox RoofClamps. This patented design fits over roof seams for a fast, effortless installation and will fit almost any seam. Ensure you won't void manufacturer warranties by piercing or penetrating panels on your roof with SnoBlox RoofClamps.

RoofClamp RC is Reusable Over and Over

Unlike competing products, SnoBlox RoofClamps use a coarse-threaded set screw. This type of threading prevents set screw lockup, which means you can reuse the product. Most other products on the market need to be cut off with a grinder, but our clamp allows you to unscrew and reuse the clamp.

RoofClamp RC Has Been Sheer and Tensile Tested

The aluminum RoofClamp utilizes three stainless steel cup-tipped screws. The attachment of the clamp is in one piece instead of two and for extra strength, it has three set screws instead of just one or two. It is fast and easy to install and will last the life of the roof. These two competitively priced models work on most of the same panels as the nine different clamps that are currently on the market. Three 1-1/4” x 3/8” cupped-tipped set screws and One 3/8” threaded mounting hole on top. The RoofClamp RC and RCT mounting clamps have been shear-tested and tensile-tested by a nationally known testing lab.

RoofClamp RC is Safe for Roofs

This patented design fits over the seam. The clamp is one piece and does not require seam feeding up the panel. The RC model is designed to fit most seams up to 1" wide. Interior dimensions are 1" wide by 1" high. The aluminum Roof Clamp utilizes a stainless steel cupped-tipped screw that does not pierce or penetrate the panel; therefore, it will not void the manufacturer's warranty.

    RC ROOF CLAMPS

Posted by rudy on Apr 25th 2019

I have tried numerous clamps on the market and found that the RC clamp sets straight when installed, and I like the idea of 3 contact points with no damage to my roof. Don't have to hit these on very easy installation. Well built and with stainless hardware. NOT A CON BUT A DESIGN CHANGE. The only thing I wish that was different is that the bolt on the top had a bonding serration on the bottom of the head instead of a washer with a wider base. Will defiantly buy again. Thank You Rudy

Roof Clamp Standing Seam Metal Roof Mounting Clamps

RoofClamp RC Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

When using the RoofClamp RC and RCT, it's critical to remember that their torque ratings are in inch pounds (in-lb), NOT foot-pounds (ft-lb). The innovative RoofClamp uses three cupped tip set screws to create a posi-lock connection to the panel with little panel deflection and no penetration. Unlike other clamps that frequently demand torque settings as high as 150 in-lbs, RoofClamp requires 90 in-lbs.

The RoofClamp RC and RCT allow you to fasten almost anything to a standing seam metal roof. With RoofClamp, customers can confidently mount items to their roofs without damaging the seams. Some of the most common uses for RoofClamp include attaching walkways, signage, solar panels, satellite dishes, snow guards, and outdoor lighting. We also utilize them in our new Satamount satellite mounting product.

The RoofClamp RC and RCT models feature non-corrosive 6061-T6 aluminum construction and stainless steel hardware. Our coarse-threaded set screws won't strip out or seize inside the clamp when torqued adequately to 90 in-lbs. Fine-threaded set screws with high torque settings occasionally cause some of our competitors' clamps to seize, making them unusable. Because of this, there is no risk of product degradation while using our clamps repeatedly. Most of the time, RoofClamp will outlive the actual lifespan of the roof itself.

No! NEVER use the RoofClamp RC or RCT as a step or tie-off point for fall protection. If you're searching for a quick and dependable fall prevention alternative, we suggest looking into the RidgePro.

When installed correctly, the RoofClamp RC was tested for up to 2,400 lbs, giving this product a rating of 600 lbs. It is allowable loading with a safety factor of 3.

About RoofClamp

In 2010, SnoBlox Snojax began selling the patented Universal RoofClamp™, a standing seam clamp for accessory attachment on metal roofing. Paul Riddell of Action Manufacturing LLC invented it. Paul is the son of Dick Riddell, one of the inventors of the first standing seam roof clamp patented in 1993. This revolutionary universal fit roof clamp product attaches almost anything to a standing seam roof. With these clamps, installers can secure satellite dishes, roof walkways, conduits, or HVAC lines. RoofClamp can also be used to attach signs or awnings. The RCT model fits over 95 percent of the standing seam panels on the market, so there is no need to stock the many clamp sizes that some other manufacturers require. The aluminum RoofClamp™ utilizes three stainless-steel cup-tipped screws that do not pierce or penetrate the panel; therefore, it will not damage the panel or void the panel manufacturer's warranty.
