The SnoBlox Ace prevents snow avalanches on a sloped metal roof.
The SnoBlox Ace snow guard features a patented design that only requires a 3-inch flat area on the metal panel for easy installation. The narrow snow guard width means you don't have to deal with straddling minor ribs. It works well on screw-down PBR panels with 3 inches of flat space between the minor ribs. For the 9-inch R-panel profile, there is a smaller version called the SnoBlox Deuce, which has a similar design to the Ace. If you're using standing seam adhesive-mounted panels, use the SnoBlox Ace on any panel with at least 3 inches of flat area.
SnoBlox Ace Adhesive test results are impressive!
Professional ATI test results show the SnoBlox ACE held up to 1449 pounds when adhered using the Surebond SB-190. The patented waffled base enhances the bonding power when used with the SB-190. Test results were obtained under realistic and simulated snow-loading conditions directly applied to the guard's face, ensuring the highest level of reliability and applicability.
SnoBlox Ace Snow Guards feature a large V-shaped snow-holding area.
The SnoBlox Ace is an impressive jumbo snow guard designed for optimal performance! Standing a whopping 3 inches tall and spanning 5 inches wide, its unique waffled base measures 5 inches long by 3 inches wide. Many of our customers opt for this larger model due to its ability to effectively hold large amounts of snow and ice on metal roofs, thereby ensuring safety and peace of mind.
The placement of SnoBlox Ace Snow Guards is important.
It's important to avoid placing snow retention systems in isolated spots such as chimneys, doorways, vents, and partial roof sections. When applying snow stops to these partial areas, it is common to see the snow guard release from the panel due to the added weight of snow and ice from the outlying area without snow guards. This glue release happens because snow and ice from places without guards can add pressure to the isolated sections. To keep your sloped roof safe and effective, it's crucial to spread the snow load evenly across the entire surface.
