20-Piece Icejax II Screw-Down Polycarbonate Snow Guard Bundle

The Icejax II is now available in a 20-piece bundle that comes with a choice of three different lengths of screws. If you are attaching to a metal panel with steel purlins underneath, choose bundles that come with 1.5-inch self-drilling screws featuring a neoprene washer under the head. If the metal roof panel has wood purlins underneath, select the bundles with either the 2-inch or 3-inch self-tapping wood screws. We provide a choice of two sizes of wood screws based on the required penetration depth to reach the purlin. This bundle contains bonus cleaning wipes for the snow guard mounting area.

The professional ATI test results reveal that the Icejax II exhibited remarkable strength, sustaining an astonishing load of 6,388 pounds when securely screwed into a purlin below.

Independent laboratory testing closely simulated the intense snow-loading conditions that the face of the snow guard would encounter, effectively demonstrating its exceptional durability and reliability in even the most demanding harsh winter environments.

The Icejax II features an interchangeable base and face.

This patented design features an interchangeable base that can be installed with either the flat side down or the rib side down, allowing it to straddle a minor rib in the metal roofing panel. When installing with the flat side down, make sure the panel has at least 5" of flat surface. If the metal panel has raised ridges, flip the unit over to straddle the minor rib. Rib-straddling for the Icejax II is mostly compatible with a 12" R-Panel, usually not with 9" R-Panels. Screw starter points are provided on both sides for mechanical fastening with self-drilling screws.
