Will colored polycarbonate snow guards fade with time?

Our snow guards stand out from the rest. We exclusively use UV-stabilized virgin polycarbonate, a high-quality material manufactured in the United States. This UV stabilization ensures that our polycarbonate snow guards maintain their color for a long time. However, they may lose some shine over the years.

How many Deuce can I roughly glue to my metal roof with one Surebond SB-190 tube?

One tube of Surebond SB-190 glue can install about 20 to 25 of our Deuces. However, depending on the user's application, this could change. Generally speaking, it makes sense to order one more tube than needed.

Can I use the Deuce Snow Guard in combination with other snow retention systems?

We never recommend combining different systems; it is never a good idea. Regardless of whether you're merging guards from the same manufacturer, comparable guards from other companies, or entirely different system types. Designers evaluate load ratings and purposes when designing snow rail systems and guards. Because of this, it is almost impossible to build a snow retention system, from multiple products, that functions well, regardless of the type. It is incredibly challenging when integrating devices from various companies, as they seldom exchange this data or agree on the best practices for spacing.

Can I install these, or do I need to hire a professional?

When it becomes older, will the Light Gray Deuce crack?

Unlike some of our rivals, who import their inferior polymers from overseas, we only use virgin polycarbonate made in the United States to make our polycarbonate snow guards. Polycarbonate plastic is more lightweight, resilient, durable, and thirty times stronger than acrylic. Its UV stability prevents the guards from breaking easily.
