Exceptional Metals EM PBR, EM 5V Crimp, and EM Stormproof panels accept the broadest range of exposed-fastener snow retention products, including selected polycarbonate guards, SnowCatcher and SnoCleat products, and screw-down rail systems.
EM 7.2 Ribbed panels work with SnoBlox Deuce, EcoJax, SnowBreaker, SnoBar PBR, and ColorBar PBR. Still, they do not accept several smaller individual guards or PBR cleat products shown for other profiles.
EM LS-36 Insulated panels should use glue-down polycarbonate options only. Insulation does not provide a suitable structural anchor for screw-down individual guards or rail systems.
For screw-down installations, fasteners must engage a suitable structure beneath the roof panel. For adhesive-mounted polycarbonate guards, plan installation around SureBond SB-190 cure requirements and avoid copper roofing applications.
